Elliott Barnes is an American architect and interior designer. He obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Cornell University in 1985, and began his professional career at the offices of Arthur Erickson Architects in Los Angeles. In 1987, he received an offer from Andrée Putman, and subsequently became involved in all of her firm's projects as her right-hand man. In 2004, he founded the office of Elliott Barnes Interiors. Since then, he has continued to handle numerous high-profile projects including The Ritz Carlton hotel in Wolfsburg, Park Court Akasaka The Tower in Tokyo, and various other luxury private residences. He has been selected twice, in 2008 and 2013, by the authoritative architecture and design magazine Architectural Digest France as one of the most talented designers of his generation.
